Pocket Era R36S Ultra Retro Handheld Console

The R36S Ultra has a 4.5 inch fully laminated IPS screen at 1024 x 768, built-in Wi-Fi and dual joysticks lit in seven colors, with an RK3326 chip and up to 1GB of RAM behind it. Up to 40,000 games preloaded across 20+ systems, ready to play out of the box.

Why the R36S Ultra

A 4.5 inch HD screen. 1024 x 768 IPS, fully laminated, for clear and vibrant visuals.

Wi-Fi built in. Play multiplayer with friends, no external adapter needed.

Lit joysticks. Both sticks light up, with seven colors to choose from.

Smooth play. Up to 1GB of high-frequency LPDDR3 RAM keeps games running smoothly.

8GB system storage. Built-in eMMC storage that supports system recovery.

Five finishes

Four of the five shells are transparent (Mystic Purple, Shadow Black, Emerald Green and Crimson Red) and let you see straight inside, the way the clear consoles of the 90s did. Ice White is the clean, classic pick.

What the Ultra adds over the R36S

• Bigger, sharper screen: 4.5 inch 1024x768 laminated IPS, against the R36S's 3.5 inch 640x480. A 4:3 panel that shows NES, SNES and Game Boy Advance games the way they were drawn.
• Built-in Wi-Fi: multiplayer, online updates and RetroAchievements with no USB adapter.
• Light-up joysticks: both sticks glow in your choice of seven colors.
• System on its own chip: 8GB eMMC holds the operating system with recovery. Your games live on the card.
