Pocket Era R36H Ultra Retro Handheld Console
The R36H Ultra is the big-screen landscape handheld in the Pocket Era line. A 4.2 inch 1024 x 768 IPS screen, built-in Wi-Fi and a 3500mAh battery with up to 8 hours of play, in a wide body with full grips that sits in your hands like a modern console. Games come preloaded, so it is ready to play out of the box.
Why the R36H Ultra
A 4.2 inch HD screen. 1024 x 768 IPS, sharp and bright from every angle.
Wi-Fi built in. Multiplayer and online updates with no USB adapter.
All-day battery. 3500mAh, up to 8 hours of play per charge.
Made for your hands. A wide body with rounded grips, dual joysticks and shoulder buttons.
Seven finishes
Six transparent shells (Mystic Purple, Shadow Black, Sapphire Blue, Emerald Green, Crimson Red and Solar Orange) that let you see straight inside, the way the clear consoles of the 90s did. Ice White with red controls is the clean, classic pick.

★★★★★
The console has good ergonomics and soft buttons, and the shoulder button layout is stacked. This helps with the fit of the hands for playing.
The ArkOS system is already installed and configured by the store itself.
The downside is the battery; it drains quickly. After 40 minutes of gameplay, the console consumes 45% of its battery.

Received the purple 64gb about a week ago. it emulates handheld games like the gba and gba flawlessly. i will say, if you are buying it to have a n64 in your pocket this isn’t the console for you. games run about 3/4 of the frame rate that they naturally would. i’m just impressed it can run bigger games like that at all, especially for $50. even with the cons, you can’t beat it for the money. i would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants some casual games on the go and hates phone emulation with touchscreen. just be ready to buy a decent sd card because the generic ones that these console come with are prone to corrupting. 10/10 ⭐️

Great console update, I already had the R36h but this Pro Max has the perfect size for those with large hands. An endless number of games, picture and sound are all perfect.

I don't know if it was just my unit that came like this. The ergonomics are okay, but one of the shoulder buttons is not functional. Another issue is the system that came with it has fewer games than the R46H version, and I also noticed a less refined system. There are many rough edges and errors in the micro SD card identification; the system is in the TF2 port instead of the TF1. I'm testing my stuff, but it could still improve.

Right directional button not functioning properly, requires pressing hard to register and may occasionally capture upward movement as well. Quality construction, more comfortable than the R36S, could reverse the position of the directional button with the lever. Comes with the OS and ROMs indicator reversed, but this is known.

I got this item in like a week. the setup was actually easy following instructions for replacing the sd cards. it works amazing. love them the wifi and even that new fn button is awesome too. it plays all the games i need it to play which is mostly gba/gbc games. and this device is perfect for all that nostalgic feel.

The product itself is exactly what i was looking for. the processor is fast enough for the games that i am playing but i do not recommend it if you want anything more modern than the playstation 1. shipping took about a week and arrived inract. the only reason i am giving this four stars rather than five is that i ordered the model that included a case, but it did not come with a case when i received the product. both the seller and aliexpress we're understanding and have initiated a return which was a simple process
